The Idea
Using model figures (provided) you are required to build and shoot an imaginative, humorous scene that utilises the macro function on your digital camera. Ask yourself... What if model figures came to life? What if their life happens around us, in the real world? The idea here is to let these figures interact with real life objects on a totally different scale from them in order to build a funny, surreal scene. The Ingredients - Digital Camera with Macro function enabled - Backdrop (whatever your creativity suggests- a flower, a fruit, a cheese, a ball...) - Set of model figures - Coloured paper The Process The secret to this exercise is to let your imagination fly. Identify a situation/phrase/pun/concept that you want to represent and then arrange your props. Carefully position the figures as they should be the focal point. |
